HEALTHCARE

Below you can read what the advisor to the President and the New Health Plan had to say. Definite proof that rationing of health care is in the plans.

"When I began working in the health policy area about 20 years ago ... I thought we would definitely have to ration care, that there was a need to make a decision and deny people care," said Dr. Emanuel, a health care adviser to President Obama in the Office of Management and Budget, during a phone interview.
"I think that over the last five to seven years ... I've come to the conclusion that in our system we are spending way more money than we need to, a lot of it on unnecessary care," he said. "If we got rid of that care we would have absolutely no reason to even consider rationing except in a few cases."

Even if rationing was not in the plans, there's going to be a need to put it in the plans if the Dollar becomes so deflated that there won't be enough money to treat everyone for terminal illnesses. With the money that has been spent it's impossible for the dollar not to become deflated. If billions more is spent on health care it's a sure thing that the dollar will be worth very little on the world scene.

  1. The worst offenses in over spending occur because people who cannot afford to pay cash up front and do not have insurance are using the ER's for non emergency visits. Healthcare reform will allow them to visit places like Doctor's Care and Urgent Care which is much much much lower in cost. If some of these steps aren't taken our hospitals are going to go under because the government reimburses at a very low rate.

  2. The caller who spoke of dumbing down of education was correct. But who's fault is THAT??
It is the voting parents who have allowed this to happen over the years and that's not the younger generation. It's the older generations who lost control of our educational systems. I agree things need to improve but it takes the willingness to fight the good fight on the part of voting parents and grandparents. Taking the time to attend school board meetings and volunteering in the schools as well. If they do not want to sacrifice time and effort then they have no right to complain. The downhill slide began just about around the time that women left the home and out into the work place instead of being active in the schools.
